Description
The Parker Brewery is a small, independent craft brewery based in Banks, Lancashire on the outskirts of Southport. The owner, Richard Parker, is from Preston and after seventeen years in wine sales he took the plunge by opening his own microbrewery.

The brewery is a complete family orientated business, with one full time employee, Richards brother–in-law Stuart and has plans to bring on board his sister-in-law over the next 12 months. Richard has a passion for beer and intends to build a stylish brand synonymous with quality, to gather a loyal local following.

The brewery opened in April 2014. It increased in size and moved to the current 5bbl plant in September 2014. The Parker Brewery supplies pubs, bars, restaurants and small independent retailers

28/2/2019. From cask at the 2019 Liverpool Beer Festival, courtesy of Danlo, cheers Ed! Pours golden with a small bubbly off-white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, caramel, grass, light grapefruit, biscuit and touch of pine. Moderate sweetness, medium bitterness. Moderate body, oily texture, average to soft carbonation. Pleasant lasting bitterness to finish. Pretty decent.

Cask at Liverpool Beer Fest 2019. Amber gold colour, white foam head and malty aroma. Taste is malt, toffee, alittle biscuit and earthy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy earthy bitter finish. Quite OK

Half-pint, cask ale, shared with Finn at PR1 Bar in Preston. Patchy off-white head over a clear amber coloured body, dotted spots on the glass. Moderate aroma of leafy hops, mid-sweet. Blended taste of leafy hops, apricot and malty sweetness beneath. Bittersweet finish. Quite alright. (05.02.2019).

På PR1. Delt med Rune. Gyldenbrun. Filmskum. Aroma av overmoden frukt. Smaken søte plommer. Tørr bitter avslutning.

From cask at Barker’s Brewery, Huyton, Merseyside, 06.01.18. Clear golden. White head. Moderate aroma and taste of pilsner malt and flowery hops. Fruity.

Cask @ Richard John Blackler, Liverpool. Slightly hazed golden ale with a small head. Has a mid to high bitterness with a few hops involved.

Cask pint in The Strawberry Garden, Fleetwood on 10th Sep 2016. Reddy brown in colour, creamy head in texture and hue. Malty brew with a hedgerow fruit and red berries feel throughout.

Cask @ Calans, Hebden Bridge. Blonde with a small head. Has a mid-malty aroma and taste in a very palatable texture.

Cask (gravity) @ NWAF 2016, National Winter Ales Festival (2016), The Roundhouse, Pride Park, Derby, Derbyshire, England, DE24 8JE. [ As Parker Centurion Pale Ale ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, sweet malt, light hoppy, citrus, fruity hops. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, citrus, fruity, pale malt, fruity maly. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20160218]
