0.33 l bottle as ’Sedat’s Schlüggla Spezialbier’ at 5.7% abv, best before December 2016, from pivnizub, thanks Guenther! Clear, pale amber with a medium large, slightly creamy, very dense, stable, off-white head. Sweetish, slightly grainy and moderately grassy-spicy aroma of straw, grains and hints of citrus. Sweetish, slightly grainy and moderately grassy-spicy taste of straw, grains and hints of citrus, followed by a short, slightly bitter, moderately grassy-spicy finish. Thin to medium body, smooth and slightly effervescent mouthfeel, average carbonation. Okay!

(bottle, as Erlenstegener Kupfer) Clear, amber colour with a small and off-white foamy head. Slightly nutty malty aroma with notes of caramel, backed by herbal and subtle citric hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Slighhtly bready and nutty cara-malty base with a tinge of herbal and subtle fruity hops, getting stronger towards the sweet-bitter finish. Solid Franconian quality Lager. 24.VII.16

(bottle) Hazy, golden colour with a loose medium-sized and minimally off-white foamy head. Slightly yeasty, delicately bready malty aroma with hints of caramel, very subtle fruity accents and herbal hops in the background. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Dry malt character with a tinge of caramel, grainy accents, as well as present herbal and slightly grassy hops, lingering into the dry and bitter hoppy finish. A bit rough, but nevertheless a decent Franconian Lager. 09.VII.16

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a blond mid-sized foamy head. Slightly grainy and delicately bready malty aroma with subtle fruity notes and shades of barnyard. Moderately sweet and minimally bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a tame carbonation. Soft malt character with shades of bread and caramel, even more subtle fruity notes, floral hops far in the background; mildly sweet and restrained bitter hoppy finish. Unspectacular, but still somewhat Franconian. 29.VI.16

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a medium-sized and slightly off-white foamy head. Slightly honey-ish malty aroma with traces of black tea, hints of citrus and floral hops. Sweet-bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft, “ungespundet” carbonation. Slightly tannic malty base with shades of caramel, again those black/iced tea overtones, accompanied by a whiff of citric and delicately floral hops; sweet-bitter finish with little spice. Nice. 29.VI.16
