Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

A cloudy, yellowish beer with a thin white head. The aroma is mild, moist, exotic fruit, citrus, and herbal notes. The taste is similar, with a distinct oatmeal flavor, some juiciness and citrus, and a low carbonation. The alcohol is rather well-hidden, but adds a bit of sharpness to the slightly herbal bitterness. For a DIPA, this is disappointing.

Clear and pale golden pint from keg, at The Grand Central, Brighton. Decent hops in aroma and flavour, but unfortunately the beer is ruined by strong notes of butterscotch / diacetyl, probably from dirty lines, and certainly not intentional. Would sample again from another pub with clean lines.

Keg at Heidrun, HWY, 27/12/2025.
Clear deep golden topped with an off white head.
Nose is orange peel, grass, straw, toasted grains.
Taste comprises melon, sweet edged, pale malts, straw, grains.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with a modest hop spattering.
Flabby mass produced affair ... poor effort from TR. I had a pint of Cwtch Christmas on cask in another pub next up after this and it shows they can still brew decent beer!
