Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.

The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Cask at Crewe Dog, Crewe. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a medium sized foamy tan head and good lacing. There’s malts, strawberries and chocolate in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet and juicy with a creamy texture. Flavour has a constant basis (malts, chocolate, grapes) but a slowly changing additional character (Molasses, spirits, cherries, toffee – not necessarily in that order). Sweet lasts into the finish. This is decent.

Cask at Hogshead, Wolverhampton. Pours a very dark reddish-brown with a small foamy cream head and good lacing. There’s coffee, malts and vanilla in the aroma. In the mouth it is sweet with a slight tang to it. Malts and coffee again to the fore plus berry fruits and chocolate, with some darker fruits being detectable later. Sweetness lasts into the finish. This is rather nice.

Tiny Rebel Cans Evening at Home - Beer 3 of 3. Hazy golden-juice appearance. It's not quite as juicy in taste given its strength, but this is more represented in its body than in booze. Away from its potent fruity aroma, the tropical fruits are however slightly subdued in taste. There's a lower-end citric bitterness available.

Tiny Rebel Cans Evening at Home - Beer 2 of 3. Lots of jam notes here in aroma and taste, which is more stated in the former, as the latter is surprisingly not too sweet. Texture is good and the beer doesn't feel its strength. Dark amber coloured with strawberry and raspberry influences.
