Description
Tiny Rebel was founded in Newport in 2012 by brothers-in-law Bradley Cummings and Gareth Williams. Williams had learned to homebrew with his grandfather, and introduced his brother-in-law to the hobby. After brewing in Cumming's father's garage for a number of years, the pair decided to make their hobby their profession. They rented an industrial unit in the Maesglas area of the city.
The company opened their £2.6million brewery and bar in Rogerstone on 1 July 2017.

Cardiff Mini-break Beer#42. Black-brown porter, first of three Tiny Rebel beers in their bar, the last of three probably in Wales for me this year. Light roasted aroma, a bit more oomph in taste, with a coconut flavour that becomes very stated in its aftertaste, a little too sweet though.

330 ml can, as Tiny Rebel Pump Up The Jam Apple Doughnut Pale Ale. (Please note that a Tiny Rebel Pump Up The Jam also exists in a Chocolate version, and a Strawberry & Cream version. ) Purchased at Left Field Beer, England. ABV is 5%. Deep golden to amber colour, huge off-white head takes a long time to settle. Aroma of apple jam doughnuts, some malts and earthy hops. Moderately sweet flavour, but not as bad as I feared. Still notes of apple jam doughnuts, malts and moderate hops.

Tiny Rebel Tins At Home Beer #3 of 3. A last Welsh-made beer of the evening, all three drunk whilst watching the Welsh Open snooker tonight so very apt. A slightly deeper amber-pink colour, I expected a more stated blood orange, although the light aroma and taste are not bad - it's just about fruity enough to enjoy the said flavours of the can. It doesn't feel its strength either.

Tiny Rebel Tins At Home Beer #2 of 3. The second in an evening of very colourful cans from the Welsh brewer. This pale golden beer with a light carbonation has a very sugary, almost sherbet fruitiness about it. The fruitiness is best in aroma, but in taste it is a clear second to the aforementioned. It's quite rich tasting too for it. Its citrus is a little more lemon for me than grapefruit, but as it's got a lower citric bitterness I think it's the sweetness of the fruit doing this for me.

Tiny Rebel Tins At Home Beer #1 of 3. Starting with the easy session ale, a hazy lighter golden in appearance brew. It has relatively light citrus tropical fruit, but enough to remain very tasty nevertheless. With its low citric bitterness it allows some sweetness of its fruits through. Some hoppiness available and a mild carbonation.

South Fylde Beery Day Out Beer#7. Dark amber-brown with a creamy head. Gritty roasted malts in a crisp keg texture, some roasted aroma too. Blurred lines between craft and macro style keg production for me here, but enjoyable.
