Cask-conditioned at the Barley Mow, Bristol 5/9/2013. Near black with a slight, off-white head. fruit cake sweetness, a touch of green herbs, orange peel and dryish finish. Good.

Small creamy shortlasting head. Aroma is slightly fruity grassy, light malts, hops, leafs, newly cut lawn, wet grain, herbs, hints of caramel. Taste is slightly dry, light malts, hops, hay, leafs, grass, hints og pine needles. Longlasting nice bitterness. As a golden ale, itβs pretty nice. But, I think this one is more in the direction of an APA.

330ml bottle. Clear orangey golden colour with average, firm, frothy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, white head. Aroma has notes of grapes, a vinous touch (white wine), a spicy touch of nutmeg. Taste is dry hoppy, minimally strawy, dry hints of fruit parings, vinous notes of grapes, a spicy touch of nutmeg; in the finish almost flat bitter hoppy like a standard Pilsener. A little special.

Cask at CBI, London on 30th August 2013. Gold with thin white lacing foam. Hoppy, grassy aroma with cheese. Grassy in-mouth with herbs and cheesy notes. Long grassy finish with tangy citrus. Zingy mouthfeel and light to medium body.

Cask at CBC Islington, 29/08/13. An early release TR clawback - many thanks ! Very lightly hazed golden with a moderate off white head, good lacing ensues.. Nose is tropical fruits, gentle hop presence, orange, light grapefruit, grass. Taste comprises orange pith, light grapefruit tang, piney notes, grass, mango. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, slightly dry in the fnish with hop bitterness. Nice sessionable hopster, probably only the ABV preventing an upgrade from GB to APA!
