(Cask at Craft Beer Co Clerkenwell, London, 27 July 2019) Hazy golden colour with brief, white head. Fruity, sweetish nose with apples, citrus and honey. Fruity, slightly sweet taste with notes of apples, honey, a touch of vanilla and a slightly sweetish finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Clean and fresh. Quite nice.

500ml bottle from Best of British Beers. Deep golden amber colour, white foam head that quickly dissipates away and aroma of tangy apple. Taste is sweet, apple, tangy, with some sugary fruity notes and hints of paper & cardboard. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, medium-dry finish. OK.

Box @ The Abbey, Shrewsbury. Murky unclear gold. Pleasantly fruity nose. Smooth on the palate, fruity with a good fleshy apple presence, juicy, melon hints, scrumpy nods.. not bad at all.

Bladder bag at Chiltern Taps, 01/09/19. Clear golden with nothing in the way of a head. Nose is big on rum fumes, sugars, rhum baba, orchard fruits. Taste runs much more like a cider with a much toned down rum presence when compared to the aroma, mellow apple, sugars, sweet orchard fruits. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Ok for what it is but I couldn’t drink a lot of this number.

Bottle at nice pub in rural Gloucestershire where we stopped for lunch. Appearance - yellow to gold. Gentle carbonation. Nose - delicate apples with definitely some pears too. Taste - sweet and gentle apples again. Palate - light to medium bodied, gentle but balanced acidity from the fruit. Overall - nice. Surprised to see that is mostly made from pear rather than apple.

500ml bottle from a shop in Minehead. Pours murky orange, still. Aroma is very distant apple must. Taste is extremely light, expected a lot more from the appearance, watery even, very light apple fruit present. Quite disappointing really.

Bag in a box at Firkin Alehouse Folkestone. Clear dark brown colour no head. Chocolate toffee and apple flavour. Too sweet. I can feel my teeth rotting. Too sweet. Toffee then chocolate. Milk chocolate. Yes fairly horrific
