Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 28th February 2014. Crystal clear gold with loose white foam. Lightly hoppy aroma. Leafy and citric hoppiness in-mouth with spices and a lime cordial note. Finish is citric with leafiness; lightly bitter rear-mouth note late. Light yet clingy mouthfeel and a fair amount of body.

Cask at CBC, Clerkenwell on 28th February 2014. Virtually black with pale brown, shallow loose foam. Roast malt aroma. Delicious mouthful of roast malts, coffee and bitter chocolate. Roast finish with citric touch and spices. Zingy mouthfeel and medium body. Superb.

Cask at Craft Clerko, 14/03/14. Chestnut brown with a well appointed tan covering that retains well. Nose is toffee, biscuit malt, dark berry fruits, an inoffensive nose if a little thin. Taste comprises bitter fruits, toffee, light smoke, nutty twinge. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, subtle bitterness in a drying close. Decent enough bitter.
