Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Low key citrus aroma. Dark amber. Thin bubbly translucent white head. Slightly hazy. At the high end of medium bitter. Grapefruit as promised - which predominates. Light-medium bodied. Flat carbonation - been on a while? Long dry astringent finish. Decent enough but one dimensional.

Bottle from Hogs Back Brewery shop. Citrus aroma with a malty base. Hazy pale gold. Thick foamy white head. Medium bitter. Some sourness. Citrus with quinine bite. Lightvand thin boddied. Fizzy carbonation. Long dry finish. An astringent warmth or it as well. Not too shabby. Slips down very easily perhaps despite being on the one dimensional side.

Cask at The Guide Dog Southampton. It pours clear copper with a small, but sturdy white cap. The aroma is fresh, bright, grapefruit sting, blood orange, pine needles, biscuit and gooseberry fool. The taste is firmly dry, grapefruit upfront, bit of biscuit malt, lemongrass, lime, gooseberry, pine needles and piss with a firmly dry finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Well balanced and judged. A classic cask ales with modern hops consumable by the pint. Sublte, yet interesting. Very nice.

Cask at the Prince of Wales, Farnborough. A pale straw pour with a thin white head; vegetal aroma; sweet herbal taste, with perhaps a touch of mint; then a dry, unresolved finish. Rather strange.

Cask at PoW, Farnborough. Citrus and veg aroma. Pale gold. Some haze to it. Frothy bubbly white head soon fades. Medium bitter. Citrus. Peach. Who knows what cat nip tastes like? Light-medium bodied. Slick with some chalk in the finish. Flat carbonation. Dry astringent finish. Fine. I believe it's been on a few days which could explain why it's a bit flat. No idea if the cat nip adds anything to the experience.

Cask (Southampton Beer Festival 2018) - Hazy golden. Pine and some earthy and resinous notes in both the aroma and the taste. Tasty but a bit rough around the edges, perhaps due to the catnip pellets which I cannot really discern.

Cask (Southampton Beer Festival 2018) - Hazy amber in colour, quite murky in fact. Hop resins, peach and grapefruit in the aroma. Fruity taste with peach, orange, tea and hop resins.
