Bottle from Albertsons. Slightly hazy golden pour with small silky white head. Hoppy aroma with a nod towards APA. Taste favors light, crisp malts, hops finish on the back plane. Easy drinker, nice golden, would appeal to APA fans.

Bottle, picked up at the local Winco. Color is a light golden, sort of yellow and brown... Maybe brass? :) Persistent whit cap and thick sheet lacing. The nose is unique; a sweet aroma of honey, orange zest, and vanilla... something that I can’t pinpoint. Malty taste, sweet caramel malts and light citrus. Mild. I don’t know that this can be fit into any one particular style - it’s not much of an ASA, but I’m not qualified to place it. It’s like a blonde with less hops...

12 oz bottle. Aroma is dough, skunk, vanilla, orange, Kool-Aid powder. Pours slightly hazy golden with a collapsing off-white head. Tastes like a mixture of water, a bland beer base, and an orange creamsicle. That sounds weird, because I know all beer is made with water, but it’s like they brewed a bitter blonde ale and then mixed it with a bunch of water to dampen down the flavor and then added the orange peel and vanilla. Bizarre. There’s a hop bitterness, though. I hated Brass Monkey, so if this is a lighter version of that, it’s definitely an improvement. What a weird beer, though. It gets points for being interesting.

Tap at Fujiyama. Deep gold, clear, low foamy head. Malty, pils-like nose, crackers, light lemon and honey. Sweet pilsner malt, low hop. Nice malt but not enough hops. Ok.

On tap at Fujiyama. Switch Hitter Golden Ale No-Li Nice orange gold with an off-white head. Floral crackery aroma. Light bodied and zesty. The taste is candyish, brittle bready a bit floral and sweet. Pretty average but nice enough.
