500ml bottle- Black in colour with a few red tinges when held to the light. Slightly smokey aroma with a hint of bacon and malt. The smokey aroma is not as prominent as I had anticipated. Roasted, malty taste and with a smokey element which while noticeable, is not overwhelming. Easy to drink.

Bottle. A dark, ruby to brown beer with a nice, beige, dense head on top. "Dark" aroma with roasted malt, coffee, chocolate, a touch of hoppy bitterness and some dried fruits. Roasted, coffeeish flavor with hints of hops, as well as some dried fruit, and a long, roasted finish. Full body. A really pleasant beer. (071228)

Bottle, many thanks to Ian Harrisoni for this beer, cheers mate. Pours light golden with barely any head other than a tiny rim of white bubbles. Some preserved lemon noticed on the nose, there a few tiny yeast particles but nothing too worry about and they are all the bottom of the glass, in fact the beer has pretty good clarity. Nice soft lemony taste, this would be very refreshing if served straight from the fridge in the summer, but still itโs a very nice drop, quite tangy, some hops, itโs a subtle but nonetheless pretty impressive beer.

Cask conditioned handpull at Market Porter, Borough Market. Strange to have a Wapping beer in London. Copper colour with thin beige head. Nutty yeasty caramel. Unusual Wapping beer as it is not full of hops. Malt/caramel aroma. Dry malts in mouth. Some hop on end to balance, but not one of their best.
