We are a Cornish Craft Beer brewery, based on the edge of Bodmin Moor. Using our own Spring water, combined with the finest modern hops to create punchy powerful beers. We've been brewing since 2008 and have exported to half a dozen countries.
Penpont is a microbrewery which produces cask ales and bottled beers, using a mixture of modern and traditional British brewing techniques.
Between 2016 and 2019 the name Altarnun Brewing was used.

Cask at the Woolpack, Chelmsford. Pours dark gold with a lasting white to off-white head. Not as good as other Penpont beers I've tried.

Tap @ Woolpack, Chelmsford. Nice head with good duration. Color is golden. Aroma and taste are fruits, flowers, malt and hops.

Cask @ GBBF 2016. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy aroma. Fruity malty weak citrus hoppy flavor. Has a fruity malty weak citrus hoppy finish.

Cask at the Queens Head, Wordsley. Pours dark gold with a large head. Aroma is sweet straw and slightly acrid. Taste has sweet straw and an acrid finish.

Cask, half-pint at Flower Pot, shared with Finn. Clear golden body. Filmy layer, good lacework. Grassy hops and bread on the nose. Flavoured with grass and grainy fruits. Rounded mid-sweet fruity ending. Accepted (Derby 21.02.2016).

Cask at Coach and Horses Half-pint shared with Finn. Spotty lacework. Missing head. Clear golden body. Dough with citric hints on the nose. Mild taste of rather sweet grapefruit. Short sweet ending. Thin to medium bodied. So and so (Derby 21.02.2016).
