Description
We’re a small brewery based near Poole in East Dorset. We take our name from the nearby world famous Sandbanks Peninsula known for its outstanding golden beaches.

We take pride in sourcing our raw materials and services locally (where possible) and donating our used grains to local farms. We like to keep things simple at the brewery and offer a small range of high quality, distinctive cask ales for you to enjoy.

The location was previously used by Bournemouth Brewing (2013-2018).

Cask-conditioned at the Hop Bunker, Cardiff 3/4/2016. Dark brown and opaque, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of toasted malts, chocolate and dark fruits. Flavour had more chocolate and coffee, before a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Eldon Arms, Reading. Red with a middling white head. Toffee and autumn fruits are ruined by a dirty hop bitterness. Like ancient dusty hops that the brewer has raked out from (with?) the filth that’s accumulated under his fridge over the years. Shame, as it seemed to have quite a nice full mouthfeel behind the muck.
