Opaque dark brown colour with ruby red hue against the light, small frothy tan head, good retention and lacing. Aroma sweet malty, dark dried fruits (dates, raisins), chocolate, brown sugar, liquorice, hint of citrus. Taste moderate sweet, slightly bitter, chocolate. Full body, oily to creamy texture, soft carbonation. Finish sweetbitter, spicy hints, bit chocolate. Very nice,

Very dark brown colour. Aroma is very fruity and sweet. Dried red fruits and also some strawberry jam. Flavour has that fruity sweetness and a fairly deep malty flavour. Very good.

Now sold as "Soixante Neuf" - Hazy dark blond. Yeasty aroma. Flavour has quite a lot of malt, candy sweetness and a yeasty edge.

Cloudy with floaties, yellow golden colour, big frothy white head, recedes slowly, substantial layer remains. Aroma sweet malts, grainy, banana, orange, yeasty, slightly sour. Taste medium sweet, slightly bitter, fruity sour undertones. Medium body, oily to sticky texture, lively carbonation. Finish fresh and light bittersweet, grassy, earthy. Not bad at all but a beer without direction.

Special ale with snow white head, quickly decreasing, and deep peach blonde colour, hazy. Noble and perfumed aroma of marzipan, bread, cinnamon, cognac, apple peel, orange liqueur. Fruity taste, a bit one-dimensional compared to the promising aroma, sweetish, bit thin mouthfeel, aromatic and spicy, finishing in dryish, grassy hops. Love the aroma, the taste is a whole lot less satisfying.

Bottle @ weekly tasting shared with Dutchdrebus and Martinus. Very dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown head that leaves good lacing. Aroma is a bit faint. Taste malts, some raisins, some fruit, some sweetness and maybe a distant hint of caramel. A bit fizzy carbonation, decent body. Meh.
