We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Cask at the Euston Tap West Lodge, 12/09/18. Light black with a well presented lasting tan head. Nose is mellow roast, pine dusting, red berry nip, toffee, brown bread. Taste comprises cocoa powder, fruit slice, light black peppery spice, pine tickle, dusty fruits, toffee. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying close peppered with earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough for a low boost cask CDA.

Keg at Richmond Tap Tavern, Richmond, Surrey. An orange/amber coloured pour with a medium white head on top. Hoppy, orange, grapefruit on the nose. Tastes similar, hoppy, orange, grapefruit, some caramel too, bitter/sweet. Nice IPA.

Keg at Draft House Seething Lane, 29/08/18. Hazed golden amber with a well presented light beige cap. Nose is mellow citric pith, tangerine, straw, toasted malts, orange peel. Taste comprises bitter, orange, toasted grains, grass, pine, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with balanced hop bitterness. Ok.

Keg at Draft House Seething Lane, 29/08/18. Lightly hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is light breads, caramel, straw, lemon rind. Taste comprises lemon rind, this hefe is way more about citric bite than banana and toffee, grass, breads, light white peppery spice, light floral tones, red berry crumble. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok.
