We are a dynamic and growing 15BBL brewery based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent producing beer in Cask, Keg & Can. Pig and Porter is a passion born of necessity, nurtured in a shed, fuelled by belief and fulfilled by the creation of beers that we love. We’re now on a mission to share our beers with everyone who wants to drink better. All of our beers are now vegan friendly with the exception of Honey Hill Wit which contains honey. Pig and Porter now has a growing team in a shiny new site with a new head brewer Riina Laats taking our beers in a new direction.

Dark brown with thin soapy head. Aroma and flavour have some dark sweet malts. A little thin. Weak hop prescence. Some grassy elements in the finish.

Craft TCR. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small cream colour head. Smooth palate, semi dry, decent fine carbonation. Light malts, sweetish, a little dry cream. Lemony citrus with a bitterish hop dankness. Floral citrus. Skewed bittermess on the semi dry finish. Odd but entertaining.

Quite bitter on the finish. Served a tad cold but fruit flavour of pineapple and passion fruit comes through. Apricot. Just served too cold. Good fresh hop flower flavour though.

On tap at The Guinea Tunbridge Wells. Black beer dark dark brown colour lasting beige head. Soft chocolate milk chocolate. Not huge body. A little watery. OK dry milk chocolate character. OK if not too exciting. Does it have a little chilli heat? Perhaps. Coffee comes through no doubt. Yes I ended up liking it.

Cask-conditioned at the Seven Stars, Bristol 8/8/2018. Deep amber in colour, with a moderately-sized, off-white, head. A malty beer, with some dense cereals, caramel, and a touch of hedgerow hop before a slightly bitter finish. Ok.
