Bottle from the Cartmel village shop. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head if slightly dull in colour. Nose - delicate at first but then lemon meringue. Taste - lemon and toffee which is well integrated but a little dominated by the toffee. Palate - close to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. Overall - decent blonde if a little sweet.

50cl bottle from Cartmel village shop. Appearance - golden with a proportionate head. Nose - lemon and sweet malt. Taste - more lemon barley water. Decent zing of lemon on the finish. Palate - light to medium bodied with a creamy texture and a long dry finish. Overall - decent lager.

On the train from Hereford to Inverness, bottle thanks to Wingman Willis, 18/10/13. Golden amber with a thin off white covering. Nose is bready malts, dark fruit waft. Taste comprises bready malts, earthy fruits, grass, light toffee. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, dry bitter finale. Average bitter.
