Cloudy amber color with compact head. Mild aroma, delicate spices, lighter fruity esters, and Chardonnay; nice. Lean but structured body; some malt flavor, moderate spicy character; unfortunately it has a strong vegetable bitterness, the finish is very disturbing, harsh, also with a light musky note.
Good beer, if not for the harsh final.

On tap at the Alibi Room, pours a cloudy mahogany with a small beige head. Aroma reveals notes of candied dark fruits, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, and some residual sugar. Flavour reveals lots of Worcestershire sauce and vinegar upfront, with secondary notes of tart dark fruits. Who could think this is good? Way too vinegary and artificial tasting. Not good at all.

Can pour. Pours a dark yellow with a mild citrus aroma. A sweet beer, with a little tartness as well. Tropical citrus fruit flavor with some yeast too. I think this one may be a little too sweet. Good beer overall, but doesn’t really have much spice which I typically love about saisons. Overall I enjoyed this though. Good beer.

Draft at the brewery. Copper color with a bready aroma. A little smoke scent too. Slightly bitter campfire flavor with a little rye. Smokey finish. Extra points for a unique brew. Enjoyed this very much.

Light amber color, hazy, with frothy head. Aroma of phenol, glue. Dry mouthfeel; the flavor is very chemical. Some honey.
Quite bad.

The color is dark brown, just before black, with compact head. Aroma if roasted malt and stale bread. Weak and dry mouthfeel; roasted malt flavor with a bit of burnt malts, burnt bread; ordinary bitterness.
Not in the direction I like.

On tap at Hilliard's, pours a dark copper with a small beige head. Aroma of Belgian yeast above anything, with no English notes. Flavour brings out dirty Belgian yeast and earthy notes. Pretty solid beer, a la a saison more than an ESB. Decent.

On tap at Hilliard's, pours a deep dark amber brown with a small head. Nose brings out toasted malt, toasted nuts, and dry fruits. Flavour is exactly the same, with toasted malt and toasted nuts. Solid stuff.

On tap at Hilliard's, pours a dark brown with a small head. Nose brings out light toasted malt and roast. Flavour reveals a lot of weak toasted malt - not much too this. Balanced well enough, but not much character. It's okay.
