Beers of the World country 131: Puerto Rico 🇵🇷
"The beer is golden in colour with a nice frothy top. It smells malty and the taste matches the smell. Although the taste is milder than the smell. Very little to no aftertaste at all. A typical Caribbean lager if you ask me." - beersoftheworldproject.wordpress.com

Bottle. Pours clear gold. Clean cereal, floral, slight sulfur, watery, very light finish. Light body. Honestly infinitely better than anticipated.

10 oz. can (241/20 so 8/27/20) from Total Wine & More, West Hartford. Though the picture on this listing is the only one on the internet I can find that does not have Premium Light on it, it appears that these are one and the same beers. Appearance is crystal clear pale yellow with decent sparkle, thin fizzy cap of white head with poor retention and no lacing. Aroma is initial strong tart fruit followed later by sweet malts with vague nuts. Taste follows aroma with initial tart fruity blast with sweet malts more muted in the background. Mouthfeel is light-to-medium bodied with thin, watery texture, soft carbonation and crisp finish as taste. Overall, at least it only has 98 calories and only 10 ounces. I've ticked Puerto Rico now. This should be even colder than it is. A phlegm cleanser on a hot summer day but should not be drunk for flavor. Won't slow you down.

12oz bottle, went down pretty easy. Gonna guess this was a fizzy piss color. Nose has flowers, malt, straw, celery. Flavor has a lot of celery, malt, biscuit. Finishes spritzy. Fine.

10oz can. I love 10oz cans. Makes me feel like Andre the Giant. Drank right from the can, but I will guess this is fizzy and yellow. Nose is lite, straw, seltzer, malt, butterscotch. Flavor has corn, treacle, straw. Finishes fizzy. Coulda been worse.
