Description
Our independence defines us. Committed to brewing modern, seasonal beer, our fierce intuition makes us unemployable anywhere else. Though we’ve never wanted to be traditional, we still respect the nobility of craft. In fact, tradition is part of our adventure, helping us explore what great brewing means today. We look to discover the extraordinary, to make beer that stimulates our creativity and makes us smile. You’re welcome to join us on the journey, but our path is our own.

Cask at Flowerpot, Derby. Pours a cloudy golden amber with minimal off-white head. Aroma has floral hops with a sprinkling of malts too. In the mouth stone fruits are the main flavour plus hops that vary between tradtiioonal and floral. Traces of melon and herbs as well. This is OK – nothing special.

Can from Beer52. Rated on 24/12/18 on my home spreadsheet. Discovered by chance today that I'd failed to log the rating on here. Opaque milky-gold with a thin white head and a moderate fizz. Fresh floral piney hop aroma. Tastes of orange marmalade, freshly baked white bread, pineapple, lemon, florals, hint of lime. A touch of chalk in the juicy finish. Very tasty, very more-ish. Good stuff.
