Our independence defines us. Committed to brewing modern, seasonal beer, our fierce intuition makes us unemployable anywhere else. Though we’ve never wanted to be traditional, we still respect the nobility of craft. In fact, tradition is part of our adventure, helping us explore what great brewing means today. We look to discover the extraordinary, to make beer that stimulates our creativity and makes us smile. You’re welcome to join us on the journey, but our path is our own.

Pint at Pursuit of Hoppiness pours a dark brown, nearing black with some creamy, off white head. Nose has . Flavor is a bit beery at first, malt and sugar, the piney character starts to come through as does some roast, some brown sugar. Finishes medium bodied and missing the bitterness I wanted.

Keg at the taproom in Bristol. Pours opaque black with a tan head. Aroma: lightly roasted malts, burnt malts, cocoa, pine. Taste: light sweet & moderate bitter, dry, burnt toast, a little tangy, piney hop. Dry bitter finish. Medium bodied with generous carb. A decent BIPA with the hops dominated the roast malts, that's how it should be, for me anyway
