Draught at Churchkey. Muddy brown color, no head or lacing. Aroma and taste of dilute Starbucks and nothing else, not even any detectable hops or malt.

12 oz bottle. Drank straight from the bottle. Aroma is decent, malty. Flavor was touch of bitter, malty, pretty good. This was a pretty good, drinkable.

Tap at Birreria Paradiso. Slightly hazy yellow color, small white head and medium lacing. Aroma of lemon peel, white pepper. Taste is subtle citrus, body is very light. Easy to drink, but lacks the character and complexity of others in the style.

Dark roasted malt nose. Cloudy brown, thin yellow head. Tart malt flavor, finishes with smoke. Decent, but perhaps too tart.

Very pale golden color with a fizzy white head. Doesn’t look much like a pale ale to me, but that’s not gonna stop me. Sweet malts, some grassy notes, light skunk, and a bit of zesty spice in the aroma. Highly carbonated mouthfeel. Flavor is decent, but lacking. Grassy, earthy, light malt, and some sweetness. It passes but not by a whole lot.

Dark with a tan head. Nice creamy chocolate, light roasted malt, some coffee, some tobacco, vanilla, and oak. Nice body but a little rough on the carbonation. Real pleasant flavor if you are in to coffee tasting porters. Coffee bean, light chocolate, some smoke, with a touch of spice. Real nice porter.

Draught at Birreria Paradiso, shared with tarheels86. Pale yellow color, white edge head, scant lacing. Aroma of dandelions, daffodils and perfume. Taste is like fiori di zuccha, an Italian dish made with the flowers of the cucumber plant. Very light bodied. Unique.

Sampled on tap at RFD in Washington DC. Pours a transparent golden amber with almost zero head. I think the lack of head was more a result of a bad pour than bad head retention. The aroma was actually very nice, citrus hops, oranges, a little sugary candy, lemons, a touch earthy. Flavor was not as good. Nothing bad, per se, but a watery finish really lets this beer down. Flavors of sweet malts, some light orange, some light lemon. Needed more kick in the flavor.
