20th Egham Beer Fest. Cask. Light haze on this amber beer, small white head. Palate is light and crisp. Good condition. Semi sweet malts. Lemon tinged marmalade. Floralness. Touch of hop spice. Carbonated nip in the finish. Decent.

Cask, gravity dispensed, at the 20th Egham Beer Festival. Amber with a loose white head; citrus aroma; sweet grapefruit taste and a grainy body; and a dry biscuity finish. Not bad.

10th February 2015
Three Johns. Cask. Almost clear deep red - amber beer, residual pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, mild fine carbonation. Very mellow malts, really not that much dark character, just a whisper of roasty coffee. Tangy generic fruits, I guess some plum, gives the back end some lift. Light finish. Nicely fruity but thin on the dark malts.

Bottle from Saucy Pears, Worcester, consumed at home Friday 23rd January 2015 Pours brown with light beige head. A bit malty, I think I can pick up a bit of maple, there is certainly a little vein of sweetness. Some might pick up a twiggy edge, and I would say its not totally my thing but then again I don’t dislike it. Its fine, bit thin and watery but had worse. A6 A3 T6 P3 Ov12 3.0

Cask at the Wellington; clear golden yellow pour with a frothy off white head, hint of grapefruit in the aroma, the grapefruit comes through in the taste along with some biscuity malts and a hint of tangerine, quite a juicy hop number.
