Description
We think life’s too short not to enjoy what you do, so we decided to brew. First and foremost we brew beer for you to enjoy. But we also think the art and science of brewing is fascinating so we’re going to share that with you.

We’re interested in creating good chemistry in its broadest sense – not just in the quality of the beer we brew, but using that to allow us to celebrate community and relationships across science, the arts, music, food, and social experiences, as well as beer & brewing. We might be biased, but we think Bristol is one of the best cities in the UK, and we’ll shout about that as much as we can.

The brewery was started by Bob and Kelly in 2015, finding a home for the 10 barrel kit in St Philips in East Bristol.

On tap at the brewery, 1/5/2016. Deep, hazy gold, with a tight, white, head. Aroma of floral hops, yeasty grains and some stone fruits. Easy drinking, with a spicy edge, more sweetish fruits, light malt character and a gentle finish. Good.

Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 5/3/2016. Near black with reddish undertones and a decent, beige, head. Chocolate, toasty malts, some berry fruit and a touch of leafy hop, before a dryish finish. Had a lot of body for a relatively low ABV beer. Enjoyable.

Cask-conditioned, on gravity, at the Gryphon, Bristol 4/3/2016. Deep amber in colour, with a thin, white, head. Aroma of tangerines, tropical fruits, and a whiff of pine, with a touch of malt sweetness. Flavour had plenty more fruit, crisp, biscuity malts and the finish was pleasantly dry. My first GC beer and a very enjoyable one.
