A pint from the cask at the Griffin, Froome. Pours a amber colour with a off white head. You can just sort of taste the biscuit among the fruit. A very enjoyable pale ale

440ml can from Bath Road Beers. Gluten Free. Yellow gold colour, bubbly white foam head and aroma of grain, straw, hay, grass. Taste is bready malt, grainy, with straw, hay, fruity notes and grassy bitterness. Medium bodied, soft carbonation, drying bitter finish. Quite drinkable.

Huge, very dense & fine, just yellowish head over finely carbonated golden beer. Rings of lace. Fresh hops, lupulin and straw. Old maizestalks. White grapes, lunaria, faint ureum. Dry-ish. Again straw, hay, dried herbs. Bit dusty. There's good, almost sweet malt underbuild, but ends on a rather metallic bitterness. Light body, creamy, good carbonation. Quite OK pale ale. Interesting new brewery (for me) and nice artwork on the can. Txs to Stef!

I spent two months working for LiverpoolFC a while back, despite supporting a club that supporters of view as a major rival. That didn't matter, but I got to know and appreciate the city during that time, so always good to return. Nice beer here at Outpost, which I don't remember from the time. Mildly sticky-sweet tropical fruit brew, pretty good in both aroma and taste but not totally stated, allows easy drinking texture though.

Black pour, beige head. Nose is wood, booze, earthy notes, a spicy touch. Taste somewhat bitter, kinda sweet notes of booze, earth, wood. Long boozy and sharp bitter finish, medium body, softcarbonation. I didn’t quite catch the port barrel, nor the rye and the bourbon BA is not sour usual sweet, vanilla like stuff either. Not bad, but not really what it promises to be.
