Cask @ GBBF 09, Great British Beer Festival, Earls Court Exhibition Centre, London, England.Clear medium to dark yellow color with a small to average, fizzy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white to white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, honey, light to moderate hoppy, flowers. Flavor is moderate sweet and bitter with a average duration. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20090806]

Cask (handpump) @ The Star Inn, Huddersfield, England. @ [ The Star Inn Summer Beer Festival ]. Dark (no surprise here :) ) amber color with a medium lasting off-white head. Thin to average body. The aroma is quite intense caramel and some butterscotch. The flavor is not as intense as the aroma was promising.

Cask@GBBF2009. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is vanilla, wood, some fruits, mild floral hops as well as some earth. Flavour is quite much the same. Aftertaste has a quite bittery fruityness.
