8-3-7-4-14 Bottle, 16% ABV. Pours slightly hazy yellow, with a tiny rocky head. Aroma is musty apples, floral honey and spicy notes, as well as grassy minerals. Full body, with almost no carbonation. Flavour is sweet notes of apples, floral honey and herbal notes, as well as spicy notes and grassy minerals.

Gulbrun farge med noe bobler ved skjenking. Lukter eple og noe gjær. Ganske søt. Litt overkant for meg. Medium med kullsyre. Behagelig i munnfølelse.

December 2018: 500 ml bottle, from Vinmonopolet. ABV is 14%. Brewed on apple juice, honey and meadowsweet. No water added. Golden colour, pours moderately sparkling. Strong medicinal aroma of meadowsweet and alcohol. Sweet flavour of honey, dessert apples and alcohol, with bitter notes of the meadowsweet. Too boozy for me, really. Still drinkable.

Bottle, 75cl corked. A white head of moderate size forms over a quite clear straw to golden color. Quite a lot of carbonation. The aroma is quite heavy for a non-iced cider, with alcohol pulling a significant part of the load, without getting pushing. Fresh apples, some funk and well ripened apple, apple and funk. Lemony hints. It's quite tart on the palate, with enough residual sugar to harness the alcohol warmth. Good carbonation too. Fresh and ripe apple, some grass and apple cores, hints of wood or forest and a light funk. Lasting finish. A tasteful, complex and delicious cider indeed. 240323

Bottle shared by Cunningham. Very nice grandma garden apple character, even if it feels kinda unfermented in flavour. Taste-wise there is med-light sweetness, hint of tartness and sourness. Light cinnamon. Good one.
