750 ml clear bottle, from Helgø MENY, Hundvåg. ABV is 4.7%. Slightly hazy pink to orange colour, pours sparkling with a moderate white head. Strong aroma of dessert apples, rosehips and rhubarb. The flavour is mid between dry and sweet, distinctly fruity, dominant apples, also rosehips and rhubarb.

The flavour is slightly on the dry side, with the same elements as the aroma, but overall with a somewhat "unfresh" character.

0,5 flaske (Balholm Eplebrygg) fra Sola taxfree, delt med Kitty på 17.mai: lett uklar dyp gylden med forbilledlig skum helt ned - ser ut som øl. Frisk og god eplesmak i kombinasjon med og fin munnfylde fra malten. Diskret humlet og fint karbonert. Kittys nye favoritt.

Bottle, 75cl. A quite hazy orange colored cider with some carbonation and a rim of bubbles. Quite sweetish apple aroma, think apple jam or baked apple, along with a gentle tropical, orangey hoppyness. Pineapple, peach, grass, a touch of orange and a very light herbal note. It's medium bodied and a little bit dead on the palate, a bit more carbonation would've done good with the fruity sweetness. Apple driven flavor too, sweet, but with a bit more hoppyness than on the nose. Quite shortlived finish. Wonder if they made it sweet to stand up against hoppy bitterness, but didn't know that dryhopping don't give you much bitterness. Anyway, it's a quite tasteful cider, but it's too sweet and flat for me. 230412
