Bottle, 75cl. It's lightly cloudy in the glass, golden-orange in color, and mostly still and headless. Some bubbles float to the top and stay for a little while though. It's quite pleasant on the nose, apple driven, with some grass, earthy hints and sour fruit. It's medium bodied and quite dry on the palate, far from bone dry though, and with a pleasant tickling on the tongue. Tannins and acidity, with a flavor dominated by fresh apple juice. Grass, bark, wood and earth notes too. Apple cores. Long finish. A very pleasant cider at a rather low ABV. 230331

Bottle, 75cl. A lightly hazy pinkish-orange colored cider with some white bubbles on top, from a gentle but constand bubbling. The aroma is apple driven, but there's quite a lot of ceneric fruityness too. More rosehip than rhubarb I think. A faint spiced, almost woody hint too. It's a bit thin on the palate, but that of course makes it very downable. A light sparkle and a light sourness too. Fruity flavor with the rhubarb shining through. Rosehips, grass notes, something wood-like and of course a good dash of apple too. Medium length finish. A thirst quencher indeed, although not super-exciting. 230318

750 ml clear bottle, as Ciderhuset Keisarinne, from Vinmonopolet, Nettbutikken. ABV is 8%. Golden colour, pours moderately sparkling with a small and shortlived white head. Nice aroma of Keiserinne (Empress) pears. Moderate carbonation in the mouth. Medium sweet flavour of pears.
