Keg at the Fox E8 - London. Pours lightly hazed yellow-gold with a creamy, white head. The aroma holds pithy citrus, lemon, straw, pale malts. Light sweet flavorbwith biscuity pale malts, pithy lemon, some rind, more straw. Light bodied with average carbonation. Decent balance on the finish with crispy pale malts, pith, hay, straw. Pretty basic but certainly quaffable.

Cask at the Fox. It pours hazy red with medium beige head. The nose is sweet, juicy, strawberry jam, dank, grassy filth and caramel. The taste is bitter-sweet, piney, resinous, earth, varnish, sticky, red fruits, jam , pepper and light caramel with a drying finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Good bitterness. Solid red.

Cask at Fox E8. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is rich roast, espresso coffee, cocoa, mild acidity, mocha and earth. The taste is bitter, earthy, rich roast, mild acidity, charred wood, ash, big coffee and dirt with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Nice condition. A very nice cask milk stout.

Keg at the Fox E8 - London. Pours oily black with a creamy beige head. Rich roast and coffee in the aroma, some gooey chocolate notes. Medium to heavy sweet flavor with lots of sugary chocolate, some bitter scorched earth, creamy coffee. Full bodied with average carbonation. Warming finish with more gooey chocolate, roast, milky coffee, mild earthy bitterness, raisins. Good stuff.

Keg at the Fox E8. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is rich roast, stewed orange, candied peel, chocolate covered coffee beans and light grassy/dank action. The taste is bitter, rich roast, orange rind, stewed orange citrus, sherbet, marmalade, earthy roast, coffee, charred wood and pepper with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Crisp, bitter and tasty. Grade A black ipa.
