Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, spicy, toffee, caramel notes, light to moderate hoppy, citrus notes, light alcoholic. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light heavy bitter with a average to long duration, and light spicy peppery after burn. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. 16.9oz bottle-pours a rich tan head that laces and slightly hazed copper color. Aroma is sweet medium malt-caramel, bread, medium fruit-plum. Taste is earthy medium malt-caramel, bread, medium fruit-plum, some herbal. Some off notes. Mild carbonation.

From the comments in the store I thought this would be great, but it was actually disappointing. Amber, small beige head. Very sweet and musty malt nose. Starts sweet, unpleasant astringent mid, mild lasting hop bitterness in finish which somehow isn’t quite right.

Bottled (Waitrose Dunkel Weissbier). Amber colour, not that much head. Aroma is wheat, mild bananas and some mild spices and yeast. Flavour is wheat, dark fruits, banana and that’s about it.
