Description
Founded in 2010 in the shadow of America’s tallest peak, 49th State Brewing is the brainchild of a chef/restaurateur/brewer and an Alaskan adventurer. 49th State Brewing’s Denali Park location provides a beer-centric base camp for those experiencing the wondrous wilderness of Denali National Park, while their Downtown Anchorage location serves up world-class brews with amazing views in the heart of the city. Both locations feature award-winning menus filled with locally and sustainably sourced Alaskan ingredients.

Draft at the brewery. Nose is banana, cloves, toffee, and candi sugar. Clear brown with a medium, lightly lacing, beige head. Flavor is lightly sweet, fruity, with a hint of resin.

Bottle: Poured a golden clear with a bubble huge head. Aroma is super tart pungent to the nose. Taste is a tart sour with touch of citrus, little old so some metallic has seeped in which is my own fault.

Draft: Poured an orange brown with bubble head. Aroma is strong fruity, vanilla, boozy. Taste is tangy rye whiskey loads fruit boost and tingly dry finish.
