Draft. Slightly pink color to the amber body with an aroma that promises raspberries and not much else. Flavor is more like raspberry soda than beer, but it is pleasant enough. My wife thought this was great.

Draft. Body is brownish-amber wih an aroma that promises sweetness and a touch of hops. Flavor is another mater all together. The sweetness is WAY out of control and almost nauseating. Pretty awful stuff!

Draft. Body is kind of amber with a sweet aroma and a little bit of hops in the flavor. Pretty bland and hard to separate from the ESB.

Draft. Very pale and hazy (almost like fresh-sqeezed lemonade). Smells of old feet, lemon and grass. Taste is about the same. Didnโ€™t care for this at all.

Draft. Body is brownish with little head. Aromas are sweet caramel malt and a touch of pine. Flavor as the above with a lovely little bit of alcohol warmth. Could maybe have a little more malt stickiness, but nice enough as is.

Nice roasty aroma. Black as coal. Nice lacing and a little head. Goodly amount of carbonation for a stout, quite enjoyable for a change. Taste is beer filtered thru old wet campfire coals, twice. Finish is mild bitter burned lingering wet wood. Could detect just a hair of bitter chocolate on the finish.

Aroma is fairly fruity sweet but not strongish sweet as with many strong ales. Barely any carbonation, if any greets the palate. This is in contrast to the fact there are bubbles constantly rising in the liquid. Syrupy feel that coats the mouth. The look of this stuff is slight haze to an otherwise ubiquitous pale yellow. The taste impression is quite evolving, first it is s trippel, but sweeter than most belgies. You would never know this is +10%! It hides the alky content well, unlike mast other american trippels. Much more refined, IMHO almost on par with other belgie trippels in enjoyability but again much sweeter. Certainly there is an alky presence but it is put in the background with all that fruit sweet sensations. Some medicinal linger remains on the palate after the session.

Mildly fruity aroma. Good medium tingly carbonation. Rather friendly on the palate. Slight haze to a very light iced tee color. This is one of the better barrel aged brews Iโ€™ve sampled. Friendly and easy to like. Well mannered and a cakewalk to get along with. Goodly amount of carbonation for a dubbel. Not much bitterness can be detected at all! The barrel flavors are prevalent but not overwhelming. Not much offense on the finish. Certainly one of the better american dubbels I have had the pleasure of tasting.

Light iced tea color. Mild initial bitterness without any sweetness. Not too much similarity to most octorfests or marzens and Iโ€™m glad. This stuff brings out the best in the style without that overly offensive bite that most โ€™fests tout. Very unique. Some medium low carbonation. Tho it is not extremely bitter, there is a tolerable amount of bitter bite that builds toward the finish. Some lingering medicinal malt bitterness on the finish.

New rating: much better. cloudy iced tea not like an ipa, lacks the bitterness. Never in yer face, much better this time around. Old rating: Light iced tea color and very clean smelling. Barely any aroma present. Interesting and unique with itโ€™s slightly fruity taste. Tho hints of fruit, itโ€™s not sweet in any way. Has a mild malt bite. Some mild carbonation. Finish is medium bitter and lasts for quite a while.
