Keg at Mikkeller, Berlin, Friday 23rd January 2026. Pours almost clear gold with a white head. This drinks fabulously easy for the abv 8.2%😳, dry, bitter, resinous soft mouthfeel, wonderful bitterness. This is a fabulous beer. Score 8.1

Can picked up from Walhalla brewpub in Amsterdam and consumed sat in Frank at Plattling station carpark Thursday 22nd January 2026. Pours pitch black, light beige head. Bitter and roasty, light smokiness builds. Thick slightly oily mouthfeel, smooth and with a little dryness at the end. Good Imperial Stout. Score 7.8

Can (canned 6th January 🥳) had this at the brewery, Fuerst Wiacek, Berlin, Friday 23rd January 2026. Pours murky yellow, white head. Big hoppiness, another tropical led beer with mango, maybe a bit of pineapple, water melon, super smooth. Score 7.9

Keg, had this at the brewery, Fuerst Wiacek, Berlin, Friday 23rd January 2026. Pours murky yellow, white head, nice mouthfeel, yeah another hop bomb but the edges are smoothed out here. There's a lovely fruity twang, ripe tropical fruit, but it's got a creamier mouthfeel, super nice. softer less bombastic, it's v.good. Score 8.0

Can (canned 6th January 🥳) had this at the brewery, Fuerst Wiacek, Berlin, Friday 23rd January 2026. Pours murky yellow but not quite as mucky looking as the previous beer, white head, nice mouthfeel, juicy, hops are hitting straight away. I sort of get the strawberry and vanilla description, to me it's not quite like that but it's fresh and summery and light fruity. It's v.good. Score 7.9

Can (canned last week 🥳) had this at the brewery, Fuerst Wiacek, Berlin, Friday 23rd January 2026. Pours murky yellow, white head, super hoppy nose, hoppy burps. full in the mouth, tropical, soft mouthfeel, wow this is super hoppy, it's a bit in yer' face but v.good.
