Bottle, 2020, 13.3%. Color: Black, thin brown head. Aroma: Coffee, roasted malt, hints of vanilla. Taste: Coffee, some fruity coffee bean, earthy, some maple syrup, subtle Bourbon, vanilla. Roasted malt. Some hop in the background. Over moderate sweet, moderate to over moderate bitterness. Dry finish. Coffee is overwhelming. Full body, soft carbonation. Bit creamy, warming mouthfeel. Very nice.

Bottle. Color: Hazy pinkish amber, lightly pinkish off-white head. Aroma: Some tartness, subtle spicy. Taste: Fruity plum, vanilla, moderate to over moderate sweet, lightly tart and very light bitterness. Subtle spicy. Just below medium body, just below average carbonation. Nice.

Sample from bottle at afterparty Carnivale Brettanomyces 2025. Didn't take many notes, just enjoyed good beers and good company. What I do remember: Grape ale, subtle grape, soft, some rye, notes of Brett. Nice one, nt your average grape-forward Grape Ale.

Draft at afterparty Carnivale Brettanomyces 2025. Aka Jans Pils. Didn't take many notes, just enjoyed good beers and good company. What I do remember: Pale golden. Brett, dry mouthfeel, spicy, pilsener matl, hoppy backbone, bone-dry finish.
