Decent hotel bar in Upton upon Severn. Its got a big white lion sitting atop the entrance. It's got a pleasant hotel atmosphere, airy and bright with a bar to the right as you walk in. The beer choice, while somewhat limited, would produce some ticks for those who haven't tried Donnington Brewery. There are 3 cask, a keg lager, and a 440ml can of 5% stout in the fridge. Not my favourite brewery but the beer is as cheap as I've found in these parts. Not a bad shout when in Upton.

Positioned a little ways southeast of the town centre (a 10-15 minute stroll), the Morgan is a decent unassuming community beer pub. They're taking part in Malvern Rocks 2025, but they seem to have nusic on regularly nk matter what. Four cask Wye Valley beers on my visit, plus Nightjar on keg. A couple of local-ish guests, but from the adorning pump clips they shift a lot of Wye Valley. Snacky food (e.g. dirty fries) available. Family and doggie oriented.

Handpull cask at the Talbot, Ledbury. Dark gold and clear with a film of off-white head and some spotty lacing. Juicy orange, a bit of mango, brown bread on the nose. Sweet taste, good bitterness quickly on, some marmalade, kumquat, a touch of plum. Medium and slightly oily body, very little carbonation. Decent but not very memorable.

Handpull cask at the Feathers Hotel, Ledbury. Very light gold, clear with a very small ring of white head. White grapefruit, lemon, some white grape and physalis in the aroma. Bittersweet taste, bursting with Cascade. The hoppy bitterness makes for an incredible finish. Slightly dry at the end. Light body, soft carbonation. Good brewing.
