Another top, top venue in Brighton. This one, you won't find unless you're looking for it. It's small and unassuming, just a regular back street local. Except the beer: 4 cask, 11 keg, 3 cider. Holy Giat, Verdant, Fuerst Wiacek, The Kernel. Every beer is one you would want to drink. Prices are reasonable enough for the area. This is another 'do not miss' pub. Oh and they offer a Buckie Negroni!

Draught keg at the Hole in the Wall, Brighton. Lightish gold and a little hazy with a small uneven white head. Some light funk, lime, kumquat. Gentle sour taste with lashings of hard citrus which hits through toothed lingerie finish. More lime and possibly some pineapple in the aftertaste. Pretty good if a tiny bit tame.

Draught keg at the Wsst Tap, Brighton. Mid-gold, a littlebit of haze with a small white head. Light put Pleasant aroma of grasses and fresh oranges. Taste is Light but pleasant too: not too heavy but enough hop to give it character. Rounded finish with tropical fruit. Well-carbonated to lift the body. For a low alcohol beer this is exceptional.

Ah, a pub by the sea. That serves... craft beer? Yes please! It's small, dark and BoHo inside but there is good seating.outside to enjoy the sun (if you're lucky weatherwise) and sea. The Four keg beers available are from Vault City, Mash Gang, Brighton Bier and Tartarus plus a can/bottle fridge so maybe not a huge selection but it's all good stuff. Maybe not the premier beer bar in Brighton but the best-placed.

Bag in a box at Piston Broke, Shoreham-by-Sea. Very, very light yellow, flirting with clear. Still and flat. Faint smell of apple, but it's just about enough. Intense taste of apples and booze. Sweet but not overly so. This is an gentle giant of a cider, made more frightening by its subtlety. Slightly tangy finish. Light to medium body, no hint carbonation. Not perfect but it grew on me.

Keg draught from Bison Craft Beer (Hove). Light gold and incredibly hazy with a small white head and generous lacing. Pink grapefruit dominates the aroma with lighter notes of lemon and satsuma. Taste is sweeter than I expected but it is lush as opposed to sickly. Sugared grapefruit and fresh pineapple juice make way to a light but dogged bitterness which dominates the long finish. Thick body, soft to medium carbonation. Amazing stuff.

Draught keg at Easy Tiger @ the Hampton, Brighton. Light yellow, mostly clear with a small film of white head. Big grainy aroma, a little bit of citrus. Taste, well the initial taste is far to sweet but then I get used to it. A bit. Some saccharin notes before the drier finish. Light body with low to medium carbonation. It is a solid enough pils but the first Beak Beer that I felt was overall mid.
