12oz bottle. Pours a clear dark brown with a minimal head. Clean caramel malts, a bit of toffee, some piney character even though it isn't hoppy. Flavour has tons of clean caramel, a surprising amount of bitter pine after all this eisbocking. Tons of bitterness, nice hop character, and solid malts. Maybe the 18% is getting to me, but this is great. The more I drink of this, the more I appreciate, this turned out fantastic. The bitterness is so intense, but balances with the rest so wel.

750mL bottle. Pours a murky, slighly rose blonde with a minimal head. Musty wood, a touch of mildew, and plenty of strawberry character. Flavour has much more of the old wood and mildew coming through, quite dry, still some of that strawberry character, though perhaps a bit fermented out. Very nice, I like the dryness, and the strawberry character is a good complement.

500mL bottle. Pours nearly black with no head. Coffee beans, toasted malts, and plenty of bourbon barrels on the nose; a bit of that green pepper character, but not much. Flavour has plenty of bourbon barrels up front, loads of dark sugars, toffee, a bit of char, some coffee. Body is maybe a touch too heavy, but otherwise this is excellent.
