(Visited May 2025) Nice pub not too far from Farringdon station (10 minutes walk). Tucked away in a calm neighbourhood. Long narrow bar in light wood. Fout handpumps and 10-15 keg beers, focusing on high quality British craft brewers (on my visit a couple of Kernel and Burning Sky). Selection is not huge, but well chosen. Friendly and swift service. Says here it's a Fullers pub, but I believe it's a free house. Nice new find, will be back.

Nice pub in the Clerkenwell area, fairly close to Farringdon and Chancery Lane stations. Spacious, with a large bar and mirrored ceiling. Seating upstairs as well. Up to ten handpumps, but not always something on all of them. Around 20 keg beers from UK craft brewers. Service is friendly and knowledgeable. Have been coming here many times over the years, it feels like the number of cask ales have gone down and it's not as busy as it used to be before Covid. Still a good visit for some nice cask ales.
