Appearance - dark brown to black with a foamy beige head.
Nose - sweet spice and molasses. Brown sugar and pancake.
Taste - brown sugar, toffee and molasses.
Palate - medium to full bodied, sweet and then some dryness.
Overall - good stuff.

Appearance - dark brown to black and opaque. Foamy off white head.
Nose - leather, raisin and liquorice edge.
Taste - burnt raisins, liquorice, hard herbs and something soapy.
Palate - medium bodied and dry and woody.
Overall - a beer of individual personality.

Nose - pancake, peanut butter jelly and other synthetic nonsense.
Taste - more of the same synthetic bollocks.
Palate - medium bodied, sweet and sickly.
Overall - Buxton you're better than this.

Appearance - golden with a very slight haze. Creamy off white head.
Nose - orange, honey and cake.
Taste - dried orange and cake.
Palate - close to medium bodied with sweet middle and light malt bitterness on the finish.
Overall - good example of the style.

Taste - cake, dried peel and Christmas spices.

Appearance - bright lipstick red. Thin pink lacing.
Nose - blackberries, raspberries and funk.
Taste - more blackberries and raspberries with sourness followed by a light berry sweetness.
Palate - medium bodied and tart with a persistent finish.
Overall - great stuff.

Appearance - bright purple, typical baked blueberry colour. Pink, white head.
Nose - blueberry, blackberry jam. Vanilla when you really look for it.
Taste - creamy vanilla and tart berry jam.
Palate - medium bodied, tart but creamy.
Overall - good. Creamy and tart at the same time.

Appearance - solid, murky orange with a creamy white head.
Nose - juicy apricot and peach with orange shred. Funky edge.
Taste - orange shred and sour apricot again.
Palate - medium bodied, tangy sour and funk. Good linger.

Appearance - deep reddish brown and fairly clear.
Nose - balsamic, redcurrant and sour plum. Not really getting the rooibos.
Taste - redcurrant, plum and cranberry. Woody funk.
Palate - medium bodied, funky and woody middle and finish.
Overall - lovely stuff if not getting the rooibos.

Appearance - deep reddish brown. Beige thin head.
Nose - dried grape, wood, tobacco, leather and a light booze note.
Taste - red cherry, a hint of vanilla and spice from the barrel.
Palate - medium bodied, funky, sour and woody middle and finish.
Overall - great stuff. Didn't smell much like old Flemish but delivered on the taste.
