extremely hazy, totally opague, smooth creamy small light yellow head.
soft almost oily hoppy-herbal aroma with a good balance between hebal, juicy and sweet malty. there is a herbal sweet grassy ish note in there that reduces the experience a bit, but a very intense yet smooth and velvety aroma.
flavor is sweet malty, herbal hoppy, very full bodied, alc. nearly totally hidden, very full bodied, thick and chewwy, end is hoppy bitter with sweet grassy herbal notes. one of the most extreme hazy ipa's i've had, that still somehow maintains balance while being very very extreme at the same time. Super easy drinking for the ABV, people drinking this without noticing will not know what hit them.

bottle from kihoskh
pitch dark, small film brown head.
Aroma is berries, roasted malts. the red and blue berries are quite noticeable in the aroma. also dark chocolate. in fact not far from dark chocolate with berries.
flavor is dark chocolate with berries, roasted malts, dark toffee, the fruity part of the flavor is a bit artificial, like, candised berries, fruit flavor with sweetener added, not natural stuff, palate is super smooth and things are well balanced, just tastes a bit forced or a bit like using artificial flavoring.
apart from that, an excellent very smooth fruit-imperial stout. the end is nicely roasted malty bitter, making the beer go down very well.
Bottle from 2015 and tasted feb 2026 - the bottle has aged exceptionally well and there are no hints whatsoever of oxidation or flavors that have faded. Tastes like it was fresh, but have an exceptional rounding and blendedness to it. Good stuff. Wish I had tasted it 7 years ago when it was fresh for perspective, i doubt it was better back then though.

bottle in nice round cardboard tube with description of the bourbon and beer. Black with a film head. pours rather thick, looks good, the head is very small but still looks good.
aroma is heavy on the bourbon with strong chocolate notes, some licorice, velvety. some dark caramel, faint wood. very heavy aroma but not boozy or stingy. like it has settled well. fainter dark fruity notes (but not like a quad, not the yeasty stuff)
Flavor is heavy bourbon, licorice, faint coconut, aromatic wood, roasted malts, faint salt licorice, dark chocolate, faint peppery note, very faint cedar woody like oxidation like note - but it's not in the way, adds character. super soft texture and flavor, really heavy but at the same time very well blended and rounded. i think they had this one on wood as long as it could handle, and the result is very very good. definetly a level up compared to the normal bourbon county stout. refined, exclusive, distinct. pretty awesome.
nowadays people stuff all sorts of things in the stouts. this one is just the imp stout and the barrel - still a lot more complex than all the artificially flavored ones.

slighly cloudy yellow, huge offwhite to yellow head.
mild but fairly nice traditional US ipa like hop aroma.
nice ipa flavor. a bit sugary sweet, but in general, hard to notice the low 0.2 abv.

hazy yellow, smooth huge white head
aromatic hoppy aroma, grapefruit, herbal hop notes, pine, subtle citrus. for a nonalc, this is an excellent west coasty hoppy aroma.
Flavor can't keep up with the aroma - flavor is somewhat watery and mild, with nearly no malty notes, but some hoppy flavors along the aroma, only much milder. however, still a very quenching, easy drinking, west-coasty nonalc "ipa". I could drink loads of these.

clear yellow, white head.
mild crisp pils like malty aroma, very slightly earthy, very faint cereral, in general a quite nice aroma for a nonalc.
flavor is fair for a nonalc but nothing special. There is a sugary note in the malts, like cornflakes with sugar, good body for a nonalc, feels "right". for some reason the whole package works quite well.

quite solid peaches aroma, some light malts too.
very nice fruity sour and sour beer sour, the fruits near perfectly balances and matches the sour beer note. really good flavor, perhaps a tiny bit watery or thin due to the lowish abv, but otherwise really good, reminds me of good american fruit sours. If anything it could need a bit more sour and tartness on the beer end of things. very good anyways.

pale yellow, white head
faint aroma which is okay for a lager, faint malts, faint mildly herbal hops, faint white bread or dough.
flavor is slightly salty, slightly grassy, slightly malty, somewhat watery but still with some mouthfeel and still some sort of crisp, close to carbonated water with a bit of pils aroma. the low score is mainly bc there is not much to taste, not much flavor.
