Opaque, reddish, thin head. Lots of raspberry, blueberry on the nose. Soft body, juicy and a touch of acidity. Bright, sweet berry fruit. The berry is big and happy, the base has a lot of body. The strawberry gets in there slightly. Very good.

Dark brown. No head on this. Meaty, raisiny aroma with lots of dark sugars, bourbon. On the palate, soft body. Lots of underlying bitterness, big malt sugars and the alcohol slices through those. Excellent, well-balanced, good quality.

Very pale. No head. The body is light, the malts are mellow. Decent continental hop character, good bitterness. This has a nice north German vibe to it.

Dark brown. This comes across with a bit of chaos, an intense barley wine (not imperial stout, really, there's no roast) with dark fruits, intense sugars, a bit of vibrant acidity, a touch of chocolate, raisiny, some alcohol. Very complex. There's all that armagnac, sherry, yeah those barrels are intense, and bring a lot of vinous richness to the malty depths of the base. Fantastic stuff - I don't imagine this concept has been attempted all that many times and there are few people on this planet who could do it this well.

Opaque yellow. Thick head. Sort of a generic hop aroma, slight hop burn to it. On the palate, it's medium body, moderate bitterness, some citrus, touch of stone fruit, and then a bit of hop burn.

Pours super thick. The aroma is just thick, rich stout...the umami and dark sugars are intense. I mean this gives off sirop de Liege vibes, which is fucking awesome. Yeah, this is all about that heroic boil and rich barrel. But excellent.

Opaque. The aroma is more on that Riwaka side, the floral, honeyish NZ hop, only a touch of green onion. On the palate, similar, with some sweet malt. Lowish bitterness. Comes across mainly floral, sweetish, not oniony which is happy.

Dark brown. Has a bit of acidity, and it has a bit of tonka beans, and there's some barrel. It's good beer, though a touch maybe past its prime with that acidity.
