330ml bottle from labierotek, dunkerque. Pours a hazed amber, solid white crown. Great spiced presence, soft caramelised malt, noticeable cloves, interesting Madagascan pepper coming through well too. Nice.

75cl bottle from the producer. Great Doux. Pours a relatively clear gold, good balanced effervescence, Natural bittersweet fruit, soft mush, mild vanilla notes, no woodiness or barrel, mild tannin, moderately dry close. Nice

330ml bottle. Pours a hazed reddish amber, thin loose bubbly head which diminishes. Tastes a bit deflated, lacks life.. meagre carbonation, has an appealing munich malt sweetness, but doesn't hold itself well.

75cl bottle from the producer. Pours a deeper golden orange than expected. Fine drying spritz, quite dry overall actually which unfortunately steals some of the natural fruitiness.. some soft tannin, light woody shades, a hint of barrel perhaps. Decent drop, distinctly rustic and farmhouse-y which belies the smart label somewhat.

330ml can from Noz. Pours gold, white head. This won 'Superior Taste Award 2023', whatever that is, but perhaps competition was rather weak as this has a commercial lager malt sweetness, industrial feel with light metallic hints. Not undrinkable, but not one I'll revisit.

First time visiting this new location since they moved. Definitely much better placed in the centre of town and a stones throw from the train station over the river. Owners have left the bare brick throughout on this old riverside warehouse which is split between bar and bottle shop. Busy crowd this early Friday evening, darts flying past you as you walk in. Expect around 10 beers on draught, same as before with a mix of local, some from further afield like Nautile perhaps a UK, Irish or Belgian surprise - this time a whiskey BA barley wine from O Brother of Galway. A fridge behind the bar has some craft cans. Comfy sofas and seats dotted about, various kids stretched out over some with the odd dog running freely around. Best spot in St Omer I reckon. Plus a friterie next door.

Draught @ Hoppy Craft, St Omer. Pours a pale golden yellow, white head. Fresh, floral and relatively light for a DIPA.. lacks the full bodied velvety mouthfeel proffered by the description, so marked down for that. Pretty good for what it is, though would've said this was 5% not 8%.
