The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Shortlived tan head over almost black beer. Ink, sweet bread, holly, cocos. Sweet cocos, copra, coconut oil, coconut waste. Liquidized Bounty. Very well-bodied, viscous. Mild to good carbonation. Hmmpff. Not my idea of a Bock. And the cocos is pure overload. Bottle from Getränkenfeinkost Leipzig

Good tan head, slowly receding over almost black beer. Rauchmalz, smoked wood, smoked mackerel. Cherrywood pipe (I've used one!). Lightly phenolic, smoke, tobacco ashes, wood. Dark malts, melanoidins, maltsyrup. Sweet finish. Quite well-carbonated, full bodied, slick. Bit soupy, too. Not bad, strange characteristics for an Imperial Stout, and low ABV. Txs to Stef!

Small white rim over unclear brownish beer with golden highlights. Smoked, Rauchmalz, bit phenolic - but all mild. Light Rauchmalz, but mainly (mild) pipetobacco. There's a faint acidity, difficult to identify. The other side of the mild coin: watery MF and body. Bit slick, good carbonation. An interesting, light Rauchbier.

No head whatsoever; almost clear, metallic-red beer. End of bottle solid deposit. Old raspberry beer (smells/tastes very much like the Boon Framboise from 30-40 years ago). Fine raspberry liqueur. Quite acidic, real fruit, raspberries. I cannot trace cherries (often mixed in). Wheat (and -slickness), not much farmyard references. Lipsmacking acidity, acidburn and -thinning, some wheatslickness. Despite being headless, feels well-carbonated. Nice framboos, good!

Towering, very dense, lightly yellowish head over slightly orangeish yellow beer, opaque. Mineral, fruity, stonefruit, hint of coriander. Apricot, again hints at saltiness. Quite fruity, some banana. Light acidity, dry finish. Light body, very carbonated and quite slick. Carries the tag 'Gose' with honour. Interesting. Txs to Stef!

Huge, dense yellow head, stable, over well-carbonated orange-amber beer. Grapes, and raisins, sultanas. Very light oxydation, tea, hard straw. Bitter, and even growing. Again sultanas, every syrupy, but not that sweet. Cakeglazign, always with the bitterish straw. Quite slick, hopoils. Good carbonation. Aftertaste is metallic, and the tea reappears. Not too bad, pity about the oxydation. Txs to Stef!

Light yellow frothy head over hazy, light yellow beer, well carbonated. End of bottle solid deposit(!). Spicy malts, dry-ish, hay & grass. Quite sweet malts, a lot at that. Finish is drier, grainy, bit water herbs. Well-carbonated, light body if quite slick. And here's an original German Helles defying tradition! Unfiltered and hazy - weird.
