The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Small if resistant white head over clear pale golden beer. Dusty grains, wheatflour, bit grassy, grainstalks. Very light bitterness overlying neutral to soft-sweet malts. Bit of chewing gum. Quite carbonated, as masking a fundamental lack of flavour. Bit slick. Rather dull beer.

Small white head over clear metallic golden beer. Laurel, autumn leaves, bread, toast, grains. Bitterish flavour overlying pale & toasted, sweet-ish malts. Dryish flavour, straw. Light body, quite slick, medium carbonation. Very decent Helles!

Explosive gushing to very good, lacey, stable cream to mango head over fully hazy orange-brown beer. With the foamfontain, also explosion of fruity hopesters, rosewater, lunaria, lupulinbomb; pistacchio marzipan. Dry, fruity flavour but also a more chemical (in the best sense of the word) and woody dry-bitterness. Oxydized hops, lupulin, hopoils, citruspeel, rosewater. At least medium bodied, +/- overcarbonated, spritzy, chewy, and more than a tad sticky. Certainly not bad, if just under the real top-IPA treshold. Brauerei Gushwork? Purchased @ the brewery

Short-lived off-white head over hazy ochre-orange beer. Putty, paint, orangepeel, coriander, faintly coloured malts, potter's clay. Sour, sour oranges, bit mineral. Lactic acid, flavours as from spicy Sauerkraut. Cloved orangepeel, sorrel, orangeblossom. Light body, well-carbonated, faint acidburn. Special, original! Bärentöter... Do I get some Karl May influences? Purchased @ Getränkefeinkost Leipzig

Small cream head, if rather stable, over red-highlighted, near-black beer. Black chocolate, intense, with caramelized coating, as a Twix bar or something of that ilk. Very sweet, chocolate, cacao powder. Perfumey - caramelsyrup with Nesquick powder; raisins. Very full bodied, viscous and chewy, alcoholheat. Ultra sweet and chewy Eisbock. Txs to Stef!

Small, light tan head over opaque brown beer. Sweet bread, banana, breakfast cereals, hint at honeysweets. Meaty esters in a surprising pop-up in the mouth. Again dark bread, very faint acidity, as if the bread were made with sourdough, cattle fodder. Medium bodied, medium to good carbonation, very slick, bit oily feel. Quite classic dunkler (!) Bock, sweet.

Quite good, just off-white head over fully veiled, very carbonated ochre-orange beer; shards of lace. Grapey nose, if a tad dusty. Grape ester, almost artificial. Again a tad grapes, coloured malts. Dry, but with a backthroat restsugar sweetness. Obviously C-hops used, but also obviously a tad oxydized ones. Good carbonation, quite slick (wheatslick?), medium bodied. Really sweet for a tripel, and not the best hops. Txs to Stef!
