I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Medium, white head over veiled yellow beer. Citrus, asafoetida, salicylic acid, floral. Soft citrus with some fruitsugars and a light hoppy bitterness as finish. Well-carbonated, quite hopoilslick. Long lasting flavours. Very decent DIPA. I wonder where the difference lies with the Hop Circles 2...

Small, disappearing white head over faintly veiled, pale yellow-golden beer. Aromatic fruity nose, bit gassy. With some searching, pear becomes obvious. Solvent, and a bit of Bretts? Pear is even more obvious in the flavour, almost perry-like. Make that: perry full stop. Very dry finish, again signs of wild yeast. Light, very refreshing, feels better carbonated than it looks. Ultra dry in the end. Interesting - in the good sense of the word. Given blind, I'd classified it as perry, not as beer.

Huge, dense, stable, lightly yellowish head over veiled orangeish yellow beer, leaving adhesive foam. Very spicy, herbal & yeasty. Grains, kernels and dry farmyard herbs. Bit peppery. Again spicy & herbal in the taste. Flavour are less dry roadhedge herbs. Sharpish main flavour, long lasting. Despite light body, rather chewy "mouthfull". Very well carbonated, spritzy. Not half bad, Au Baron has always been a good brewery, despite its precessor role. Thx to Stef!

Appearance - 8 | Aroma - 5.5 | Flavor - 6 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5

Good dense, thick & stable off-white head over finely carbonated clear copper beer. Toast, green kitchen herbs, parsley, green leaves, faint arachide. Some faint hoppy notes immediately emerging with rosewater, rosehips and a harsh metallic, very dry finish. Grains. Almost dry-out effect - backthroat rather than incisal. Light body, soft carbonation. Aftertaste sports a straw-like flavour. I'm guessing the hops used were originally New Worl hops, but from the Western Flemish clay. And that isn't the same terroir. Small, fast gone whitish head over crystal clear copperish golden beer, lazily carbonated. Pale malts, adjuncts, faraway underdone toast. Again malts, adjunct-ridden, and a light but harsh metallic bitterness in the end. Meanwhile, a short, sweet pineapple flavour, fleeting. Dry, that being the nicest thing I can say about it. Undercarbonated. Piss-poor. And at the same time, the craft beer scene in China is blooming. Txs to Stef!
