The next beer might even be better. B.C."H." = British Cask "Head" - to be perceived as some disparate lonely looking bubbles, uncertain of their CO² content, and because of their scarcity, of undefinable colour. UFO's: Unspeakable Floating Obscenities MF: NO, that isn't it. That's mouthfeel, in civilized countries. I hereby solemny propose a law to be instated by all beergeeks, -amateurs, -lovers, -tasters, - enthusiasts that forthwith the use of the infernal spice, known as coriander, is forbidden for at least the five first years of brewing, and later only to be tolerated by explicit consent of minimum five different accredited beerorganisations. Infringements ought to be sanctioned by denouncement to the international beerpress and public drainpour of the offending brew.

Draught Very good, fluffy white head over hazy orange-yellow beer. All kinds of citrus with grapefruit, bitter orange, citruspeel. And dried woodpulp, ureum. Citrus, definitely if less outspoken than the nose. Rather sweet, as oranges. Acidity seems to come from the CO² - indeed well-carbonated. Quite slick, medium bodied. Aftertaste is much more bland, and I guess that's what makes it less remarkable in the end.

Brown ale from Mendel Bier was the one that did it!

Medium, cream-beige head, disappearing over chestnut brown beer. Softly coloured malts, chocolate malt. Faint acidity, some chocolate, wood; more neutral finish but in the aftertaste, there's again maltsweetness prominent. Medium bodied, good carbonation, faintly sticky in the finish. Rather simple.

Draught Small yellow head over unclear orange-ochre beer. Sweet malts, faint ashes, muscovado sugar, grapefruit. Orangepeel, orange tea, sweet citrus, faintly herbal. Light to medium bodied, quite slick, well-carbonated. Nice, and not unlike a UK ESB, if somewhere a tad unidimensional.

Draught Huge, dense & fine off-white head over clear copper beer. Very malty nose, toasted, dark green leaves. And then suddenly coffee. Orangepeel, again (just a) whiff of coffee, sweet & toasted malts. Bit sticky, and creamy feel. Tends to overcarbonation. Decent, if certainly nowhere revolutionary.

Draught Reddish-copper beer under a thick, yellow stable white head with varied bubbles. Living wood, undergrowth, also woodfire and moss. Beechwood, lightly smoked, dried garden herbs, toasted malts and some restsugars. Hint of vanilla backthroat. Medium bodied at best; very well-carbonated, slick. Not bad, if not quite what I expect from a Vienna (the breadiness).
