440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of citrus, bready grainy malts, hedgerow berries. Taste is the same, surprisingly citrusy, hedgerow berries, bready malts, grains, good bitter finish. Completely flat unfortunately, almost no carbonation at all, much lighter body than it probably should have.
Shame about the lack of carbonation, the American version was fine and therefore much better than this English version.
Also this would probably be banging on cask.

440ml can. Pours black with a tan head. Aroma of coffee, chocolate, caramel. Taste of coffee, roast and chocolate malts, vanilla, caramel, bittersweet leading to an assertive bitter coffee finish. Medium-full bodied.

440ml can. Pours almost black with a beige head. Aroma of strong piney resinous hops, chocolate and caramel malts, a little roast. Taste is very hoppy, citrus peel, grapefruit, piney resin, chocolate and caramel malt character with some roastiness, strong bitter hop finish that lingers.
A very hop-forward BIPA that was right up my Straße (but maybe wants some more of them dark malts for some balance).

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head, good retention. Aroma of orange and grapefruit, piney resin. Taste of orange, grapefruit, pine, resinous, biscuity malt and a hint of caramel, strong bitter finish. Medium bodied.
Bright IPA if often synonymous with "watered down westie" but this is really good, much like a proper WC style pale.

440ml can. Clear golden with a big white head. Aroma of pine, orange, marmalade. Taste of sweet malts, marmalade, piney, resinous, orange, pineapple. Medium bodied. The "bitter bite" isn't particularly notable, and it lacks the crisp clean character of a decent westie.

440ml can. Clear golden with a white head. Aroma of orange citrus, marmalade, piney resin, honeyed sweetness. Taste of orange, grapefruit, marmalade, caramel, very piney, resinous, herbal dankness, fairly assertive bitterness though I was expecting a little more at this strength. Medium bodied. Pretty good westie.
