16 December 2025. At Bar 1919 in Phantasialand. Shared with the lovely Anke!
A: clear pale golden, small, white head.
A: melon, mango, wort, vague butter.
T: sweetish melon, wort, touch of lime.
F: soft floral hops, quite fruity, melon again.
P: light to medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation.
Very disappointing for Mikkeller (or Proef for that matter), so I can't be anything other than strict in my marking.

Bottle from Hopduvel. Hazy amber, small, foamy, white head. Aroma of oxidised apple peel, fig, plum, brioche, sherry, leather, straw. Taste has sour apple, plum, nectarine and grape in a brioche-like, bit toasty malt body with funky notes of leather, lemon & lactic acid. Tart, quite acidic (sharp) finish, lingering nectarine pit, woody tannins, some sherry and warming whisky alcohol. Medium body, moussy texture, fizzy carbonation. An interesting blend of flavours and profiles but also quite sharp, acidic and perhaps too young for its own good. Perhaps I should seek it out again, give it some time...
