Can. Hazy orange gold beer, a good size off white head that has good persistence. Airy palate, mildly dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts, a pleasant creamy sweetness, very slightly milky but, in a good way, kinda gelato. Krush and Nectaron, natural bedfellows innit? Stone fruits and mango led tropical fruits, slightly candyish here but, a decent amount of hop spice and a touch of skunk keeps things real. Soft Motueka lime on the back end. A fruity juicy dipa affair that goes down a treat.

Can. Hazy orange gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Airy palate, mildly dry, a good fine minerally crispness. Light malts, a light creamy sweetness. Hops bring a fair hop spice nip, light cooling pine and mild undercurrent of skunk. Nice to have Wai Iti up front - slightly floral citrus and stone fruits, very light peach and tangerine. Simcoe and Nelson are back fillers here. Light finish. Nicely done. A well layered and bright dipa.

Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Light smooth palate, a little dry, decent fine carbonation. Slightly thin bodied dark malts, mellow dark chocolate. Fairly tangy fruity bourbon barrelling, fruity, ripe and rich but, blinking tangy. Some coconut sweetness relief on the back end. For me, just a bit too tangy.

A medium haze on this deep amber - brown beer, small bubbly pale tan head. A smooth palate, quite light all things considered, decent fine carbonation on the back end. Caramel and dark toffee malts, not that sweet. Muscular rum barrel, big tangy fruity and slightly spicy rum. A nice light oak induced vanilla on the back end. Yeah, it's really about the barrel this one and, the barrel delivers. I do hope Menno can do brews like this in Spain without all pressure of the running the De Molen brewery. Very nicely done, delicious.

Can. Near clear gold beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, a little dry, good fine minerally carbonation. Light bodied pale malts, a nice light sweetness. The hops deliver a good hop spice nip and a nice undercurrent of skunk. Fairly tangy and juicy hops fruits, good Chinook boxy orange with a nice slightly ripe lemon streak. A little peel. Some Mosaic candy fruits lurking around on the back end. Light finish. Good a good hop vibe this one. It's not a revolution despite the claims of very high tech but, it is a very good result.

A full on ESB, right then! Clear amber beer with a good bubbly pale tan head. A snappy fine minerally crisp palate, slightly dry. The malts deliver a crisp biscuity caramel. The Bramling Cross and Galena hops bring crisp cooling pine. Ripe plummy fruits, touch of esters. Whisper of dark berries on the back end. A bright crisp ESB and one I rather enjoyed. Could be a little more, you know, bitter but this is nicely done.

Can. Clear gold beer with a decent pale cream colour head. Smooth palate, a mild dryness, decent fine minerally carbonation. Light smooth pale malts bring the right amount of sweetness. The Challenger hops are a delight. Soft pine into juicy bright citrus that is slightly tangerine - mandarin with a whisper of stone fruits and fruits without names. Light finish. Very easy quaffing. UK hops done right! More please!

Can. Clear deep amber brown beer, good bubbly pale tan head. Light palate, airy, a little dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Fairly dry thin bodied dark malts, some tangy chocolate. Not getting much Chevalier richness. Thin ripe plummy fruits. Light and semi dry finish. Not bad, for me, certainly the basis of a good mild here but, I think needs to be a bit beefier in most departments. Milds don't have to near low alcohol beers.

A light haze on this orange beer, good pale cream colour head. Airy palate, getting on for semi dry, decent fine minerally carbonation. Malts are smooth, trace of natural grain and bring a modest sweetness. The Bramling Cross hops taste more like Fuggles to me, not delivering much berry goodness, more a mellow Fuggles ripe orange. It's not particularly bitter either. It's clean and drinkable but, unfortunately the title of the beer is self descriptive.

Hmmm, so this a smoke beer whilst its sister Raspberry job is a barleywine? Pretty much the same affair as the Raspberry Rauch. Caramel malts a little stronger, soft smoke a little lighter. Soft ripe cherry. A mellower but richer affair.
